Since 2009, we’ve worked with talent from San Juan, Caguas, Villalba, Ponce, Miami, Colorado, and even India. And after hundreds of projects, one thing is clear to me: Puerto Rico’s problem has never been a lack of talent.
Puerto Rican talent is top-tier: creative, bilingual, and equipped with a cultural understanding that no outside agency can replicate. What’s sometimes missing is the structure to keep that talent here: ambitious projects, leadership that bets on its team, and clients who value local work.
The remote model we adopted years ago changed the equation. It let us tap into specialized talent wherever they are, without sacrificing our close relationships with clients. In-person meetings, productions on the island, and direct relationships are still part of the work—it’s just that now the office is a network, not a place.
My bet for the next decade is simple: the more Puerto Rican businesses recognize that our local digital talent can compete in any league, the faster the local economy will transform. At the agency, we keep betting on that every day.
